Length: 3 Days (24 Hours)

Designed For: Military and law enforcement officers and agents of any federal, state, or local agency with arresting or detaining power that may encounter hostile suspects that may pose a physical threat to the officer(s).

Prerequisites: Must be military or law enforcement (Open only to active military or law enforcement personnel)

Description: The GST Program is specifically designed to give any Mlitary or Law Enforcement Professional-regardless of age, gender, or athletic ability - skills to neutralize the immediate threat from an aggressive subject, retain control of their weapons during the fight, achieve a position of advantage so they can utilize the appropriate force action.

GST Overview: The GST course consists of 23 stand-up & ground techniques, taught in 24 hours over a 3-day period. Techniques address most common threat scenarios encountered by Military& Law Enforcement personnel in the field. Gracie Survival Tactics (GST) are extremely effective when you are up against much larger & stronger opponents. Reduce liability for agency when officers learn safe, effective & proven reality-based techniques.

Attire & Equipment to bring for Participants:

  1. · Tops: T-shirt (Long Sleeve recommended) or sweats. No Gi top!
  2. · Bottoms: Long loose fitting athletic pants, tactical pants or Gi pants. Shorts are not allowed.
  3. · Feet: Barefoot recommended- no footwear other than wrestling shoes.
  4. · Optional: Groin & mouth protection. Load bearing equipment (helmet, body armor, gear, duty belt – is part of training on last day, etc.) is not part of training but may be used with   permission from instructor on the last day of training.
  5. · Other: Finger & toe nails must be clipped if you are not wearing shoes.
