Designed for: Law Enforcent that enforce Drug Laws to include Patrol, Investigators, Agents, Corrections, Probation, Parole, and all others who possess authority of arrest including Military Police.

Prerequistes: None

Description: This course provides an overview of the transition from pain pills to heroin, Attendees will explore which opiates are abused most frequently and how they are abused, including fentanyl and the analogs of fentanyl, powder to pills and the China connection.  In addition, the most current trends of use of all opiates; why the use of depressant drugs in combo with opiates; stages of use including identifying the opiate addict; addiction and factors associated with behaviors and crimes will also be examined along with health and life threatening dangers involved in investigative contact with these drugs.
