Course length: 5 Days (40 hours)
Designed For: Federal, State, and local Law Enforcement Officers who are tasked with the planning and execution of narcotic related arrests and search warrants.
Prerequisites: None
Description: The High Risk Event Planning for Narcotic Operations course provides conceptual, technical skills and knowledge to effectively, safely, and legally serve narcotics search warrants. This class provides instruction for the majority of warrants all narcotics units serve. The class places an emphasis on safe methodical structure clearance and risk mitigation through proper planning. The class covers the advantages of deployment of technology assets such as robots, drones and ATAK, but they are not required for successful completion. Students also apply critical thinking in that during an operation a mission may change to a hostage rescue or officer down event requiring officers to demonstrate their ability to transition to dynamic tactics. Officers attending the class will demonstrate these abilities through realistic force on force scenarios. The instruction provided is consistent with all current professional.

- Approaches, Team Movement, Stacking, alt Breach Points, Link Points, etc…
- Breaching (Manual, Ballistic)
- Distractions, Diversions (Brake & Rake), Ruses
- Slow methodical clearance techniques
- Critique, review, and training assessment
