Designed For: This course will train officers to investigate illegal activity conducted on the internet through the use of social media such as Facebook, MySpace, Craigslist, Backpage and more.
Prerequisites: None.
Description: This course consists of techniques to train officers to gather information and valuable intelligence on gang members and drug suspects through the internet. Students will learn to use covert accounts to build cases involving, but not limited to illicit drugs, narco-terrorism, bulk cash, human trafficking, child molestation, terrorism and illegal weapons.
